The Symphony Fables

The Syphony Fables: Edinburgh College of Art Degree show project
The Symphony Fables is a demonstration of how illustration and music can work together to create an evocative and immersive sensory experience. Each of these six moving image pieces were created specifically for a short piece of music which I personally composed. These  audio/visual productions are meant to provide an intimate and experiential environment where viewers can reflect upon how this powerful synergy of mediums can induce very personal, emotional, and narrative responses from within. The atmospheric and fantastical nature of The Symphony Fables, which can be both seen and heard, allows each beholder to become a participant in the construction of it's meaning: Illustrated here is the power that music possesses to tell us each our own story, and it is here where our imaginations can respond to that light, joyful, and euphoric feeling that comes especially from music.
